Our Story
Koshtak started with something simple: we wanted to build software we'd actually want to use ourselves. Not bloated enterprise tools, not rushed MVPs — but thoughtful products that respect the people using them.
The name comes from the word for "brackets" — the punctuation that gives structure to every program ever written. That idea stuck with us. We wanted to be the company that brings structure to messy, real-world problems.
We're a small team, and that's intentional. It means every decision matters, every feature gets debated, and nothing ships until it feels right. We'd rather take longer and get it right than rush something out the door.
Right now, we're heads-down building our first product. No users yet, no hype — just work. We'll share more when we're ready.

Start with the problem, not the solution
It's tempting to start with technology and work backwards. We do the opposite. We spend time understanding what people actually struggle with, then figure out the simplest way to help.
Products that work together
We're not building isolated apps. Everything we make is designed to connect — shared accounts, consistent design, data that flows between systems. The more you use, the better it gets.
Respect the user's time
If our software needs a manual, we've failed. Every screen, every interaction should feel obvious. We obsess over the small things — clear labels, fast load times, sensible defaults — because they add up.
Build to last
We make choices that pay off over years, not weeks. That means careful architecture, reliable foundations, and saying no to shortcuts. We're building for the long run.
